We are pleased to announce that Laurie Groesbeck has been elected to the Infusion Nurses Society Board of Directors as Director-at-Large.  We are confident that Laurie will bring new ideas to the organization and its members through her commitment to the profession of infusion nursing.

In her two year term as Director-at-Large, Laurie will act as a Board Liaison to INS committees, represent INS as requested by the INS President or Chief Executive Officer and will help set organizational policy that ensures the promotion of the specialty of infusion nursing, quality patient care and the efficient management of INS.  During her term, she will also submit a manuscript to the Journal of Infusion Nursing relevant to the nursing profession and/or infusion nursing specialty. 

Laurie’s first board meeting will be held this week in Boston, March 12-16^th.  Her official installation to the board will be at the 2011 Annual Convention & Industrial Exhibition being held in Louisville, Kentucky May 21-26, 2011.
